For a few years, the singer stayed away from the stage to dedicate herself to studying Brazilian history and to closely following the indigenous struggle, with the aim of learning and contributing. Over this time, she was able to reconsider her relationship with music, and this show represents her own passage through time.
Accompanied by her band, the singer and composer performs her greatest hits, with a new look, such as Shimbalaiê, Dona Cila and Bela Flor, some re-recordings of great names in MPB, such as the track that gives its name to her latest album, composed by Milton Nascimento, and Lanterna dos Afogados, as well as songs from other albums that she had not performed.
“This show goes through my entire discography, like a timeline too. There are songs from all the albums and things that I recorded, but didn’t usually sing in concert. It’s a nostalgic concert, one of those things that really brings back memories, both for me and for the audience,” says the singer.
